September 2026 Kendama Drops: 94 New Models, 158 Restocks, and 54 Already Gone
September 2026 brought 94 new kendama models from 19 makers, plus 158 restocks, across the online kendama shops that DAMA PIG tracks. Every one of these drops and restocks landed at a shop you can order from today, and the product links below take you to the live stock status on Dama Pig. The catch: 54 of the 94 new models had already sold out again by early October, leaving 40 still in stock. Only 16.3% of complete kendamas are in stock site-wide right now, so if you want to buy kendamas online this month, the rule is the same as always: buy it when you see it.
That sellout rate is a step better than August 2026, when 85 of 111 new models had sold out again by September 7. Prices moved the other way. The median new model cost $60.00 in September, up from $49.99 in August and $45.00 in July.
New Kendama Drops in September 2026 by the Numbers
September was a slightly quieter month than August on volume, with 94 new models against 111, and 19 active makers against 24. Restocks went the opposite direction: 158 products came back, up from 95 in August, and 71 of them were still available at the start of October. The other 87 sold through and vanished again.
The price picture is the real story. Not a single new model landed under $25 this month. The spread: 13 models between $25 and $39, 31 between $40 and $59, 49 between $60 and $89, and one at $90 or above. The cheapest new listing was $27.00 and the priciest was the Lotus Pro Sampler at $130.00 to $161.00, a six-shape set. Everything else capped out at $89.99.

Trends and Patterns
- Nobody shipped a sub-$25 model. Zero new drops landed under $25, and only 13 came in under $40. Budget buyers are being pushed toward restocks, where Sweets and Kendama USA still have plenty under $30.
- The $60 to $89 band dominated, with 49 of 94 new models, more than half the month, priced like a pro model.
- Occult and Erratic Squirrel both hit 100% sellout on 16 and 13 new models respectively.
- Kendama USA, OKendama, and One Kendama bucked the trend, with every one of their 34 combined new models still in stock.
- Resellers carried a lot of the month. Kendama Senses listed the Erratic Squirrel, Lotus, Ozora, and Su Lab releases, and Kendama Depot carried Da Originz and Su Lab.
Price Watch
The median new-model price reached $60.00 in September, up from $49.99 in August and $45.00 in July, a 33% climb in two months. The kendama drop stats page tracks that curve over time. The restock pile is where the value is: the Sweets Classic 5 Stripe and Sport Stripe lines at $26.99, the Kendama USA Kaizen Half Split at $39.99, and KROM's NFS tamas at $30.00 are all in stock.
What to Watch Next Month
With complete kendamas at 16.3% in stock site-wide, October should bring another wave of kendama restocks chasing September's sellouts. Check the drops page daily, set restock alerts on the product pages you care about, and read the August 2026 recap or the week of September 25 report for the finer-grained history.
Drop counts are distinct models: colorways count separately, while pack sizes, complete, ken, and tama formats, and wood options of one design collapse into one. Counts come from the DAMA PIG tracker, which polls every kendama shop we know.
